Our Story
Founded in 2007 as Elements Realty Group, Mexico Life Realty® emerged from a commitment to elevate the standards of real estate in the region. The company grew rapidly, driven by professionalism, ethics, and transparency. In 2010, John purchased MexicoLife.com for nearly $10,000 USD — a bold move that would become the cornerstone of a future brand. In 2017, the company officially rebranded as Mexico Life Realty®, a name that reflects both our purpose and our passion.
Today, our leadership and team continue to redefine what real estate in Mexico can be: professional, transparent, and truly client-centered.
Meet Our Brokers
John Forget and Christie Forget are the co-founders and brokers of Mexico Life Realty®. Together, they have completed more than 850 successful transactions, setting the ethical and professional standards that guide every agent in the company.
Before entering real estate, John spent nearly a decade with Costco Canada, including seven years in the marketing department, where he learned that putting the client first isn’t just good business — it’s the only way to do business. That foundation, combined with his formal real estate education and licensing in Alberta, Canada, shaped the service-first philosophy that defines Mexico Life Realty® today.
That philosophy became a life’s work in 2003, when John and Christie took a remarkable leap of faith: moving permanently to Mexico with their four young children, without ever having visited the country before. That profound personal journey is the foundation of their commitment to helping others confidently and successfully start their own “Mexico Life.”
