John Forget is the founder and broker of Mexico Life Realty® — one of Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit’s most trusted real estate brokerages. With more than 20 years in the Mexican market, John brings a rare combination of hands-on local expertise, international business experience, and a genuine passion for helping people find their place in Mexico.

John’s real estate career began in 2002 when he was licensed in Alberta, Canada. In 2003, he and his family made the leap — relocating to Mexico without ever having visited first. That bold move turned into a calling. By 2004 he was selling real estate in Puerto Vallarta, and in 2007 he founded the company that became Mexico Life Realty®.

Known as a technology pioneer in the region, John was among the first agents to bring drone photography, 360° virtual tours, and Matterport technology to Mexican real estate listings. Today he is best known for his deep expertise in Fideicomiso trusts, luxury buyer representation, and cross-border transactions — the areas where international buyers need the most guidance and trust the most in their agent.

John holds a federal CONOCER certification in Mexico, has been an AMPI member since 2004, and is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). He works with buyers from the US, Canada, and around the world who are looking to purchase a home, vacation property, or investment in Mexico with confidence and clarity.
