Why are Mexican listings in square meters?
Mexico uses the metric system, so MLS listings, floor plans and the deed all record construction and lot sizes in square meters. Land is often quoted in hectares; one hectare is 2.471 acres, or 10,000 square meters.
Does construction size include terraces and parking?
It depends on the developer and the listing. Many condo listings quote total construction including covered terraces, and some include parking. Ask for the interior size and the terrace size separately when you compare units, and check the deed, which records the legal size.
What size condo do most buyers choose in the Banderas Bay area?
